Sáasil is Mayan for light. The word represents both physical and internal light.
Images are created once once the image sensor is exposed to an external light source. The stories we tell connect our creative work to the internal light.

Our Story
A seasoned physician associate turned entrepreneur, Chaz Hernandez built this company from the skills used in medicine - empathy, relationship building, and analytical ability. His creative experience spans over 20 years beginning with wedding videography for his father's business. He maintained his creative passion over the years in landscape photography while working full-time. The stories of his patients inspired Chaz to look for new ways to merge his professional skills with his creative passions and in 2026 Sáasil was born.
